Si quieres jugar con solidez al Texas Holdem Poker shorthanded limit, necesitarás un bankroll de 400 big bets, 100 apuestas grandes más que las que se recomiendan para las mesas grandes. Ello se debe a que los efectos de la varianza, son mayores en las mesas cortas de póquer con límite que en las grandes te recomiendo que no juegues fuera de banca, ya que ese es el principal factor de riesgo para un jugador de poker y, en particular, para los que lo practicamos en las mesas pequeñas. En mi opinión es más complicado tener la disciplina necesaria para llevar un buen control de bankroll que aprender nociones de estrategia y táctica y aplicarlas en las mesas de juego.

Bluffing is an important factor in texas holdem strategy. The right bluff at the right time can be a powerful weapon against your opponents. Bluffing can improve your odds of winning and add strength to your texas holdem strategy. Of course the ‘art of the bluff’ is not mastered over night. Practice is essential, but will not completely eliminate the possibility of someone calling your bluff.

That’s part of the beauty of poker … there’s always more than one way to analyze a hand, and sometimes there might not be a definitive right or wrong answer.

As poker players progress through the levels they will encounter play that is more and more aggressive. However we are also looking at changing dynamics where it will be imperative for their own games to become more aggressive as aggressive play will be needed in order to counter aggressive play.
